The Futsal Association of India, also simply known as FAI, is the governing body of Futsal in India. FAI was formed in 2007 and we are solely responsible for the management of the men’s, women’s and youth national futsal teams.

Mr. Namdev Shirgaonkar is the former President of the association and also an ex co member of the Olympics Association of India.

Our aim is to educate the youth of India about the importance of Futsal through district, state and national tournaments so that they have a better understanding of the game. We will produce great players not only in Futsal but also in football and create a new benchmark for our selves every time

Shankar Perumal

He is a philanthropist and a former football player who has been contributing to the society for over 20 years. He has sponsored the education and sporting career of deserving students helping their dreams come true. He was chosen the president of Karnataka State Futsal Association and has been a rightful person for this position.

Raj Kiran P
General Secretary

His journey with the beautiful game began at 6 but his professional career kick started when he represented Under-16 junior Indian team. Having played for various professional clubs like SAI, SOUTH UNITED, ADE, RAILWHEEL FACTORY , his thirst for the sport just lives on. His golden run continued when he was chosen to represent Bengaluru Royals in Premier Futsal League 2017 where he rubbed shoulders with world leading footballers like Ronaldinho, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs to name a few. He instantly shot to fame when he scored a goal against Mumbai Warriors , that earned him the best moment of the match award

He gave his entrepreneurial side a chance 5 years ago when he started ‘Happeners Sports Academy’ which trains aspiring enthusiasts . He also owns ‘Soccerholic’ , a sports arena which is symbolic for his addiction to the game.

He was nominated as the GENERAL SECRETARY OF KARNATAKA STATE FUTSAL ASSOCIATION last year and his girls team won the runners of the tournament.

His passion and contribution for the game will thrive different heights in the years to come.

Lilly Mary Thomas
Organizing Manager

Her journey started from being the only girl on the school football team. Playing with the boys made her tough and skillful. This served as a platform for her to represent Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous (3yrs), Bangalore University (3yrs) and eventually the State team (3 Senior Nationals). She is currently Captain Karnataka’s Futsal team. Furthermore, being a diverse sports individual she has set a record for being the first Indian woman to participate in the 50K category of the Mantra Summits Challenge 2018 that was held in Indonesia. She has represented our country and has been featured in top sports websites Italy such as sporteconomy.it, corrieredellosport.it, tuttosport.com and affaritalian.it.

Currently, she is employed as a Sports Manager at Happener’s Sports Academy founded by Raj Kiran. Being a certified coach she scintillates her love and passion for the game by coaching and grooming young talent.

Sridhar Shiloh D’zousa
Selection Committee Head

Sridhar is a simple man who upholds titles that are so difficult to earn. He is a gold medalist from SAI and has been groomed by this prestigious sports body for 4yrs. He has represented the junior and senior Karnataka State team numerous times. Being a mid fielder he controls the game with simplicity and ease. He is the game controller and is known majorly for assisting crucial and consequential wins for the state. As he was a popular figure in the football world he was signed up for Indian Bank – Chennai. Currently, he is employed as the Head Coach in Happener’s Sports Academy.

He is a FAI certified coach and plays an important role in identifying talent and grooming it. Sridhar upholds immense value due to his caliber of working with special kids. He is a person who can gel along with children easily
